The Dalmore 25 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Highlands, bottled at 42% in a 750ml bottle.
It is matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then aged in Tawny Port pipes and in 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose brings exotic fruits, citrus, vanilla pods, treacle toffee and fig cake. The palate has Madagascan vanilla, thick treacle toffee and chocolate truffles, and the finish turns to maple syrup, dark chocolate and spiced gingerbread.
