The Dalmore 25 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and in Tawny Port pipes. It also spends time in casks exclusive to The Dalmore that previously held 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry.
The nose brings exotic fruits, citrus, vanilla pods, treacle toffee and fig cake. On the palate there are Madagascan vanilla pods, thick treacle toffee and chocolate truffles. The finish carries maple syrup, dark chocolate and spiced gingerbread.
