The Dalmore 30 Year Old 2021 Edition is a single malt that began its maturation in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels. It was then moved into 30 year old Tawny Port pipes from Graham's, a casking made possible by the long-standing partnership between The Dalmore and Graham's.
The Tawny Port pipes work with the distillery's house style, which is built around chocolate and orange character, to give depth and a long, gripping finish.
The nose offers candied orange peel, treacle toffee, Morello cherries and warm brioche. On the palate come Black Forest gateau, Tarte Tatin, Victoria plums, Madagascan vanilla and shaved almonds.
