The Dalmore 35 Year Old is a single malt bottled at 40% ABV. It is matured in distillery-run ex-bourbon barrels, Port Colheita pipes and casks that previously held 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry, then brought together to marry in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels.
The nose is of roasted Colombian coffee, liquorice, orange, molasses, morello cherries and ginger. On the palate come thick, tangy marmalade, ground cinnamon, chocolate cake, roasted chestnuts and raisins. The finish brings mango soaked in aged port, marinated plums and rich pineapple.
