This is a 45 year old single malt from The Dalmore, released in an edition of 500 bottles worldwide.
The whisky was matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then moved into two vintage Graham's Port Colheita pipes dating from 1961 and 1963.
It is described as smooth and mellow, with dark chocolate, red berries, manuka honey and mild liquorice on the palate. The nose brings almonds, cake and Sanguinello blood oranges, and the finish is very long.
