The Dalmore King Alexander III Lunar New Year 2025 Edition is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, released as a limited edition to mark Lunar New Year 2025. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
King Alexander III takes its inspiration from an act of bravery by the Mackenzie Clan in 1263. The whisky is matured in six types of cask: ex-bourbon American white oak, Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks from González Byass, Madeira, Marsala, port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon barriques.
This combination of casks is said to give the whisky depth, richness and balance.
