The Dalmore Luminary No 1 is the first release in The Dalmore Luminary Series, a 15 year old Highland single malt from 2022 in a 70cl bottle at 46.8% ABV. Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass created it with architect Maurizio Mucciola and V&A Dundee. Only 15,000 bottles were produced, and it is non-chill-filtered with no added colour. The whisky was matured in American oak and finished in Italian Amarone wine casks, alongside Kintsugi casks made from Scottish Tay oak, Japanese Mizunara and American white oak. The nose has rich fruits, panna cotta, honey roasted almonds and black morello cherries. The palate brings citrus, chocolate, figs and ginger cake. The finish is dried fruits and honey with wood spice and cacao.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
