The Dalmore – Port Wood Reserve (70cl)

The Dalmore Port Wood Reserve is a Highland single malt from the distillery at Alness, in a 70cl bottle. It matures first in American oak casks that previously held bourbon, then in Tawny Port casks from the W & J Graham's vineyards in Portugal. The nose brings red berries, ripe fruit, Seville oranges and toffee. On the palate there is fresh fruit, creamy caramel, roasted chestnuts and Java coffee. The finish stays with fruit: plums, sultanas, blood oranges and macerated cherries.
