The Dalmore Vintage 2003 is an 18-year-old single malt Scotch whisky, sweet and spicy in character.
It begins in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then moves into Matusalem and Amoroso sherry casks, Rivesaltes wine casks and small-batch bourbon barrels.
The nose offers spiced toffee, thick honey and Madagascan vanilla. The palate brings baking spices, dark berries and golden syrup, leading to a sweet finish of cinnamon sugar and candied orange peel.
