The Deacon Blended Scotch Whisky

The Deacon is a blended Scotch whisky built around smoky Speyside malts and peaty Islay malts. The name comes from the Scots word for a skilled master tradesman, and the blend is meant as a nod to master craftspeople in any trade. The Islay malts bring a peaty smoke, while the mainland malts give a smoke closer to bonfire. The bottle carries an ornate pattern and the brand's mascot. Expect charred orange, sweet malty biscuits and woodsmoke on the nose, then juicy orange, delicate spice and tangy peat on the palate. The finish is sweet, smoky, long and smooth.
