The Deacon Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

The Deacon is a blended Scotch whisky made from single malts from Islay and Speyside, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Its name nods to the master craftsmen known as deacons in Scotland, and the bottle takes its steampunk design from traditional copper stills. The nose is leather and light smoke with a salty, dill-like note. The palate is sweeter than the nose suggests, with a touch of peat, gentle caramel, orange, malty biscuits, light spice and a hint of seaweed. The finish is long, sweet and smoky.
