The Deacon Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl)

The Deacon is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, made from smoky Speyside malts and peaty Islay malts. The Islay malts give a peat smoke, while the mainland malts add a bonfire-like smokiness. The name comes from the Scots word for a skilled master tradesman, and the whisky is meant as a tribute to master craftspeople in any trade. The bottle has an ornate pattern and carries the brand's mascot. The nose has charred orange, sweet malty biscuits and woodsmoke. On the palate come juicy orange, delicate spice and tangy peat, followed by a long, smooth finish that is both sweet and smoky.
