This is a five year old blended Irish whiskey from The Dead Rabbit, bottled at 44% in a 70cl bottle. The name comes from a notorious street gang in eighteenth-century New York, which the bar of the same name also recalls. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The whiskey matured first in bourbon casks, then received a finish in virgin American oak. The soft, sweet notes of the bourbon casks meet fresher, woody accents from the new oak.
