The Deveron 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt made at the Macduff distillery near the mouth of the River Deveron, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It spends twelve years in oak casks, and colouring is added.
Macduff began production in 1960 and works with five small copper stills and horizontal condensers. The flavour is described as creamy vanilla, baked apple and ripe fruit, with toasted grain and a light maritime spice. The finish is soft and spicy.
