The Dubliner O'Hara's Irish Stout Cask Batch 1 (70cl, 40%)

An Irish blend from The Dubliner, finished in casks that previously held O'Hara's Irish Stout. It belongs to the limited Beer Cask Series and is the first batch, dated 2019. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, chill-filtered and with no added colour. The stout casks sit on a soft whiskey base, which brings malty pastry notes, chocolate and nutmeg. The nose is ripe pear, apple sweets and malty digestive biscuit, with toasted marshmallow and nutmeg. On the palate, candied ginger and chocolate meet violet and vanilla in a creamy texture. The finish is dominated by dark chocolate with robust nutmeg.
