The E & K by Adelphi 5 Year Old Fusion (57.8%)

The E & K by Adelphi is a 5 year old blend of Scotch whisky and malt whisky from the Amrut distillery in India, bottled at 57.8% ABV in an edition of 800 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. Alex Bruce of Adelphi chose the whisky as a tribute to his great-grandfather, Victor Alexander Bruce, who was appointed viceroy of India in 1894. The nose brings generous dried fruit, freshly cut grass and ripe fruit. The finish is long and rounded despite the high strength.
