An 11-year-old English single malt from The English Whisky Company, whose St. George's Distillery in Norfolk was founded in 2006. This is the third batch of its 11-year-old, a run of 4300 bottles.
The whisky was matured in first fill and refill American oak casks and bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtration.
The nose is fruity, with baked apple, peach, mango, dried apricot and cherry, plus vanilla, citrus, mint, sage and almonds. The palate is sweet and spicy with cherries, apples and tropical fruit, and the finish is peppery, oily and slightly dry.
