The Epicurean is a small batch blended malt from Douglas Laing, made by vatting single malts from the Lowlands of Scotland. It is bottled unfiltered and with no added colouring, and comes in a 70cl bottle.
On the nose it shows citrus and cereal, with hints of banana and fresh herbs. The palate is sweet and juicy, with apple, pear, grape and ginger, then a little grass and dark chocolate.
The finish is medium to long, with lemon, honey, barley and a touch of freshly cut grass.
