The Famous Grouse Smoky Black is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, made as a peated version of the classic Famous Grouse. Its smokiness comes from carefully chosen peated malts, which give it a bold, distinctly smoky character. The nose is robust, with peat and charred wood followed by vanilla and malt. On the palate the peat is balanced by gentle chocolate and spice. The finish is long and enveloping.
