The First Millionaire American Barley Whisky

An American barley whisky from The First Millionaire, named after Sam Brannan. Brannan was a businessman in California at the time of the gold rush. After the cry of gold from the American River went up in 1848, he bought all the spades, shovels, picks and pans in the surrounding area, then resold them to the newly arrived miners at markups of over 1000%. By 1850 he had become the first millionaire in California.
