The Gauldrons Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46.2%)

The Gauldrons is a Campbeltown blended malt from Douglas Laing, added to its Remarkable Regional Malts series. It is bottled at 46.2% abv in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill filtration. The name means bay of storms and refers to the dark sandy coves of Campbeltown. Legend has it that Robert the Bruce watched a spider rebuild its web there again and again, and took heart from it. A golden spider's web decorates the packaging. It is produced in small batches, and each batch is numbered so that future bottlings can be compared as the line develops in the cask.
