The Glen Grant 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 75cl bottle, made at the distillery in Rothes. Its tall, slender pot stills carry purifiers that let through only the lightest vapours. The whisky matured for twelve years in ex-bourbon casks.
The nose has green apple, honeyed pear and citrus zest, with vanilla fudge, toasted almonds and a light herbal note. The palate brings caramel, vanilla cream and apple pie spice, with malt, honey and soft oak. The finish is medium and dry, with warm wood spice, vanilla and a touch of citrus.
