This is a twelve-year-old Speyside single malt from The Glenallachie, a distillery run since 2017 by Master Distiller Billy Walker. It was named World's Best Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards in 2025.
Billy Walker chose casks of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry, red wine and virgin oak for this bottling. It is non-chill-filtered, has no added colour and is bottled at 46%.
The nose brings dark chocolate, cream caramel, honey, cinnamon, raisins and roasted coffee beans. The palate is full and round, with marzipan, apples, cocoa, mocha and nutmeg, and a long, soft, sweet finish of dried fruit and spice.
