The Glendronach 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV. It is an official distillery bottling, matured for at least 12 years in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks, and presented at natural colour.
The two sherry types give it sweeter dried-fruit character alongside nuttier, more savoury notes. Raisin, orange, bramble, chocolate and gingerbread feature in its profile.
On the nose it offers rich dried fruit with raisin, chocolate praline and gingerbread, then gentle sherry spice. The palate is rounded and fruit-led, with bramble, orange and sultana moving into warming spice and soft chocolate. The finish is smooth and warming, with lingering dried fruit and a gentle sherry sweetness.
