A 14 year old Highland single malt made to mark the 200th anniversary of The GlenDronach, which was founded in 1826. It is named after Boynsmill House, the Georgian estate at the heart of the distillery, and comes in a 70cl bottle at 46.8% ABV, with natural colour. The whisky was matured mainly in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, then finished in Claret red wine casks, which add delicate berry notes and subtle tannins to the dark-fruit sherry character. The nose offers Christmas cake, candied orange peel and dark cherry. The palate is velvety, with figs, dates and espresso. The finish is very long and warming.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
