The GlenDronach 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured for eighteen years in Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía, Spain. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It sits in the core range of The GlenDronach, a distillery founded in 1826, alongside the 12, 15, 21, 30 and 40 Year Olds.
The colour is antique bronze with an amber hue. The nose has fudge, dark muscovado sugar, fruit compote and morello cherries. On the palate, stewed fruits and allspice meet aged Oloroso, toasted walnut bread and chocolate orange. The finish is long, with dark treacle, allspice and walnut.
