The GlenDronach 21 Years Old is a Highland single malt matured for twenty-one years in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is bottled at 48% ABV in a 700ml bottle.
The sherry casks give the whisky a deep amber colour and a richly layered profile.
The nose offers ripe autumn fruit, blackberries, red plums and candied orange, with spiced oatmeal and toasted oak. On the palate are fine sherry, bitter chocolate, nutmeg, ginger and Victoria plum pudding, leading to a long, refined finish.
