This is the twelfth batch of The GlenDronach Cask Strength, a Highland single malt matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at its natural strength of 58.2%, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is rich with mocha, cappuccino, fruitcake with raisins and orange, cherry liqueur and gentle wood spice. On the palate come dark chocolate, roasted almonds, candied ginger and orange peel. The finish is long and intense, with coffee, sultanas and caramelised crème brûlée.
