The GlenDronach – Cask Strength Batch 7 (2018) (70cl, 57.9%)

The GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 7 is a Highland single malt, bottled in 2018 at its natural cask strength of 57.9%. It is the seventh release in the distillery's Cask Strength series, supplied in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose brings ripe cherries, raisins, dark chocolate, figs and roasted nuts. On the palate come dried fruit, toffee, cocoa, oak and warm spices, and the finish is long and powerful, spicy and fruity.
