The GlenDronach Ode to the Dark is a Highland single malt from the Master's Anthology series, selected by Master Blender Dr Rachel Barrie. The series first launched in December 2024.
It was matured exclusively in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and bottled non-chill-filtered at 50.8% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Its appearance is black garnet.
The nose combines mocha, black cherry and dark chocolate with crème brûlée, raisin, brown sugar and ginger. The palate is velvety and rich, with mocha, espresso, dark fruits and spice.
