This is a 12-year-old single malt from The Glenlivet in Speyside, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The name comes from its maturation in both European and American oak casks.
The result is a balanced, fruity character, with the casks adding notes of vanilla. Pineapple and a creamy, nutty aftertaste run through it.
The nose is fruity and summery. On the palate, intense pineapple sits at the centre of a balanced, fruity flavour. The finish is soft and creamy, with marzipan and fresh hazelnuts lingering.
