This is The Glenlivet 12 Year Old in the George & J.G. Smith's 'Unhurried Since 1824' bottling, a discontinued expression in a 70cl bottle at 40% abv. It was matured for 12 years in select French oak casks. It is the Seagram era version, bottled in the 1990s and early 2000s, before Pernod Ricard rebranded the distillery in 2004. The 12 year old was the entry level Glenlivet for many decades, until Founder's Reserve replaced it in 2015.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
