The Glenlivet 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from a distillery founded in 1824. It is sold in a 70cl bottle and was matured for 12 years in a combination of European and American oak casks.
The colour is amber gold. The nose is fresh and fruity, with green apple and citrus, vanilla and honey from the oak, and a trace of malt and wildflowers. The palate is soft and velvety, with sweet ripe fruit, delicate spice and white chocolate. The finish is long, with spiced wood and hazelnuts.
