The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Provence Edition is a Speyside single malt in a 75cl bottle, part of the Beyond Speyside Series. It is a limited release built on the 12 year old Glenlivet.
The whisky is finished in French wine casks and Provence cru classé wine casks, which add a fruit-led layer to the Speyside malt.
The nose offers ripe orchard fruit, peach, florals, berries, honey, vanilla and gentle malt. On the palate come pear, stone fruit, red berries, honeyed malt, vanilla and soft oak spice. The finish is lingering, with sweet fruit, floral notes, vanilla, gentle spice and oak.
