The Glenlivet 15 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky finished in Limousin oak.
The oak is cut in the Dordogne region of France, and the finish is applied selectively. The distillery was among the first to use French oak in whisky making, a practice that is now followed widely elsewhere.
It is described as having notes of toasted almonds and a gentle cinnamon sweetness.
