This is a 15 year old single malt from The Glenlivet, a Speyside distillery founded in 1824. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The whisky is matured in French Limousin oak, the same type of wood used for Cognac. That oak is credited with its flavour of baking spices and toasted almonds, and with a sweeter, more richly spiced character than the classic Glenlivet style.
The finish is creamy and buttery.
