The Glenlivet 18 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Glenlivet was founded in 1824 and sits in the Speyside region of Scotland.
It is a marriage of whiskies aged in first-fill and second-fill Bourbon casks as well as Sherry butts. The American oak gives plenty of vanilla, while the Sherry adds spice and richness.
It is described as creamy, with flavours of apricot, nougat, toffee and candied orange.
