This is a 25-year-old Speyside single malt from The Glenlivet, bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle.
After its long maturation, the whisky is given a finishing period in two kinds of cask: first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry and Tronçais oak Cognac casks.
The nose opens with cherry, milk chocolate, sweet cream and blueberry, with orange peel and dried herbs appearing later. On the palate it is thick and slightly oily, with fig, blood orange, morello cherry and sultanas. The finish is very long, with caramel, dark raisin and orange.
