This is an 18 year old Speyside single malt from The Glenlivet, drawn from a single American oak hogshead. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 52.8% without chill filtration, in a 75cl bottle.
The edition comes to 246 individually numbered bottles, each from the one cask.
On the nose there is vanilla and butterscotch with ripe orchard fruit and toasted oak, opening to cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is full-bodied, with creamy vanilla, honeycomb, golden raisin and apricot, and a floral sweetness that appears when a few drops of water are added.
