The Glenlivet Captain's Reserve is a Speyside single malt that finished its maturation in former Cognac casks. The casks add richness and notes of grape to a whisky described as fresh and fruity.
It stands for the link between Scotland and France, and pays tribute to Captain William, heir to the distillery, who fought in the First World War. This bottle comes in the earlier packaging of the expression, in a 70cl bottle.
