The Glenlivet – Founder's Reserve (75cl, 40%)

The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve is a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It is made as a tribute to George Smith, the founder of The Glenlivet. It carries no age statement. The whisky is chosen from traditional oak casks of a range of ages and married with first-fill American oak, which adds a creamy sweetness to the delicate fruit and citrus of the Glenlivet house style. It is described as pale gold, with citrus fruit and sweet orange on the nose. The palate is smooth and creamy, with zesty orange, pear and a hint of toffee apple, and the finish is long and smooth.
