The Glenlivet Provence Edition is a 12 year old single malt in a 75cl bottle. It is the second release in The Glenlivet's Beyond Speyside Series.
The whisky is finished in a combination of French sweet wine casks and Provence Cru Classé casks from Château Sainte Marguerite. The sweet wine casks bring velvety richness and ripe fruit, while the Provence casks add fresh peach and a light floral note.
The nose offers white peaches in syrup, toasted almonds and meadow flowers. On the palate come juicy nectarine, vanilla crème brûlée, marzipan and white chocolate, followed by a warm, honeyed finish.
