Rare Cask Rich & Spicy is a small batch single malt from The Glenlivet, made from hand-selected rare casks. It is triple cask matured, including rare ex-sherry casks, and this is Batch No. 9378/012, in a one-litre bottle.
The nose brings nectarine, apple sweets, honey and gingerbread. On the palate there is orange marmalade with the peel, aniseed, macaroons and a touch of spicy ginger. The finish holds warm baking spices with a hint of cocoa.
