The Glenlivet 'Sample Room Collection' 25 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It was matured for 25 years in traditional oak, then finished in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and Tronçais oak cognac casks.
It belongs to the relaunched Sample Room Collection, named after the room where The Glenlivet's makers test and refine their work. It won a Gold medal at the International Spirits Challenge 2025.
The nose brings chocolate ganache, plum jam and Manuka honey, then lemon zest, toasted cinnamon and orange blossom. On the palate there are sweet fig and blood orange with ginger, toasted oak and a hint of charred pineapple, and the finish is long and sweet with gentle spice.
