This is an 18 year old Speyside single malt from The Glenrothes, part of the Soleo Collection. The series takes its name from the soleo method used in sherry production in Jerez, and every expression in it matures in sherry casks.
It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill-filtering.
The nose offers orange and vanilla with a hint of almond and cherry. On the palate come dried fruit, pear and ginger, leading to a peppery, fruity finish.
