As a single cask bottling, it shows the character of one oak cask rather than a vatting.
The nose offers dried orchard fruits, notably sultanas and figs, with vanilla pod and a hint of polished oak. The palate is rich and velvety, with butterscotch, candied orange peel and warm baking spices. The finish is long, with sweet oak and a little dark chocolate.
