The Glenrothes 25 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from the Soleo Collection, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It spent twenty-five years maturing in a combination of sherry-seasoned oak casks and American oak barrels.
The nose is fresh tropical fruit, rich citrus and sweet vanilla. On the palate come layers of mango, pineapple and candied orange peel, with a little nutmeg spice. The finish is long and silky, with lingering oak and delicate sweetness.
