The Glenrothes – 42 Year Old

This is a 42 year old single malt Scotch whisky from The Glenrothes, matured for four decades in oak casks. It is bottled at natural colour, and its deep amber tone comes from that long time in oak. The whisky is described as intensely aromatic, with a sweet taste and a velvety mouthfeel. In the glass, expect a distinctive orange oil fragrance. The palate is richly sweet and creamy, with some light oak.
