The Glenturret – 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch

This is a 12 year old single malt from The Glenturret, a Highland distillery known for making both peated and unpeated malts. The distillery was founded in 1763 and remains a fairly small operation. For many years it belonged to Edrington, the owner of Macallan, Highland Park and Glenrothes. In 2018 it was sold, together with the Famous Grouse blend, to The Lalique Group, which now releases small amounts of single malt from the distillery. Glenturret is regarded as the spiritual home of Famous Grouse.
