This is a 30 year old single malt from The Glenturret, the 2023 Release, in a 70cl bottle. It was built from a search for particular flavours found in five older casks.
European oak brings a traditional rich fruit character with hints of brandy and ginger. A port pipe adds a warm ruby hue and touches of red fruits. Two American oak hogsheads contribute sweeter notes of tropical fruit and bananas, inspired by the delicate new make spirit of the distillery.
